A valuable painting stolen by the Nazis during WWII is the catalyst for two love stories – seven decades apart – in this touching drama. When Samuel takes his father Otto to Germany to claim a portrait of Otto’s mother, the young American finds himself unwillingly drawn to Wilda, the painting’s current keeper. Before he can recover the painting, however, he must uncover the mystery of its creation and its fall into enemy hands.
